Kawaii Japan (3rd Day - Ikebukuro Park)

Saturday, 08th June 2013

I was soooo lazy wake up in that morning. Because I had 'a whole day trip' couple days in a row, so my feet getting sore. But I realised that today I planned to go to the tallest tower in the world named Skytree. Okay Aditha, don't be lazy!

I woke up at 8 am whilst I planned to go at 10 am, so I had couple hours for preparing. I had bath tube myself to make my feet relax. It took an hour for me to had a bath :D
So fresh!
It was 10 am, I was ready but my friend didn't >_<! Ah well, no need to be annoyed, so I decided to look around near hotel.
Luckily when I went out to mini market, I saw my bus -the same bus which was taking me to the hotel- it just drop the passengers in front of the hotel.

Airport Limousine Bus
Exactly in front of the hotel

I don't want to make an ads, but for anyone who wants to go to Japan (especially in the first time) and stay in Sunshine City Prince Hotel, I strongly recommend you to take this bus from the airport. So you do not to be worry will get lost.

Anyway, as I told in my earlier post, look how they gave you a very nice "goodbye" greeting for the passengers. What a polite!
They bow down their body until the bus left
This is really fortunately for me I could take this moment as I forgot to take the picture before.

In that morning, I walked by myself to buy my breakfast. The silly thing happened to me I almost crossing the road when the pedestrian light was on red! It because it didn't happen in Indonesia. We have for some of area, but people just ignore it.

Okay, I got my breakfast now. A jasmine tea and dorayaki.
Jasmine Tea value 125 yen / IDR 12.500 and Dorayaki value 105 yen / IDR 10.500
In the left side of my hotel, there is a small park. Usually when I passed this park in previous days before, this park always crowded, but not for this morning. So I decided to take a sit for a while and enjoy my breakfast by myself.

The white building is Sunshine City Prince hotel.

The park was quite at that time. As I remembered, it only have 5 people include me.

Then, there was a cat near me and wants to steal my dorayaki! Gggrrr, cheeky like my cat!

When I almost finish my breakfast, suddenly there were a couple of Japanese came to me. They speak Japanese so fast though. Then I said to them, "sumimasen, nihonggo ga wakaranai" (Sorry, I don't speak Japanese), -it only a sentence that I remembered-, lol.

But both of them still want to talk. The woman tried to speak by using her I-phone and using a translator application. Whereas the man, he really struggling to say "I".

Oh my God, even until I wrote this, it still clear in my memories how hard they want to try to speak with me. I thought they get lost, so I called my friend's bf who speak Japanese fluently.

After that, they said thank you to me and left me. I felt so guilty because I can't speak Japanese at all. Aaargh, it was making me so bad!

So I decided to come back to hotel and prepare my self to go to Skytree as my friend already to go to.

PS: I am now motivated to learn Japanese because of what I just had in the Ikebukuro park.

See my next post to know my trip in Asakusa for Skytree Tower.

Love,

Aditha
